At the age of 17, Hitomi's parents died in a traffic accident in Tokyo, leaving her to live with her aunt and uncle on the father's side. Unfortunately for Hitomi, the two families (Hitomi's family and her Uncle's family) never exactly got along with each other, and Hitomi's aunt and uncle despised Hitomi. Never really taking the role as her guardians, she was left to tend to herself with what was in the house. This early incident made her learn the arts of cooking, washing clothes, cleaning, and shopping for food. Eventually, the uncle and aunt took advantage of her skills and used them for their own purposes. Hitomi was forced to do chores for the majority of her teenage life, for a family that she equally despised. At the age of 21 she gladly accepted her adulthood and quickly decided to move out of the house. Her aunt and uncle actually accepted this, and give her a little money to buy some clothes to get out of their house. Thinking of her future, she decides to keep this money to perhaps buy a maid uniform, to work off the rent for her room. The only problem was, she was having trouble finding anyplace she could financially support. That is, until she stumbled onto a beautiful mansion on the outskirts of Tokyo in the phone book…
