Yuri Akari

Character Description:

Hair: Short, Red, spiked backwards with three long spikes in front.
Eyes: Deep red with no visible pupils.
Skin: Slightly tanned.
Height: 6 feet
Weight: 150 without armor 500 with armor
Usual attire: She usually wears a plain T-shirt, tight blue jeans, a silver ring with a purple gem in it, and a small charm, somewhat shaped like a person.

Current Armor: Black plate armor, with dark violet spandex-like material in between the plates. The edges of the black plates glow a soft, deep purple. She has a matching helmet, with a gold frame around her face, and a visor. Over her forehead there is a red heart-shaped jewel. The boots of her armor are especially large, and there is an alpha symbol on the front of the pelvic plate. Also, seemingly for distraction, the plates do not cover her chest, or a portion of her lower regions. Rather, the spandex-like material covers this.

History:
Yuri Akari was originally named Yuri Alpha by her creator, Dr. Nezumi Akari. She was built in the year 3012, in another dimension's future. She was built for the primary purpose of being a sexual slave to Dr. Akari, a scientist, and the daughter of the rich president of NeoTech Industries. However, Yuri was Dr. Akari's own personal project, and she designed everything from her titanium endoskeleton, to the nanotech cells that made her, to her pre-programmed AI limitations.
However, for some unknown reason, Yuri surpassed all of Dr. Akari's expectations, and began to develop a personality beyond what her AI limits allowed, however she still functioned within logical boundries. Dr. Akari was unsure what to make of this, but she began to treat Yuri almost like a daughter (except that you don't do some of the things with your daughter that they did... unless you have some serious problems). While studying the strange occurance, Dr. Akari also raised Yuri in a way, teaching her about the world, and life, as best she could, considering that she couldn't really let her go out into the world on her own, seeing as most robots were met with hostility in the outside world.. mostly by those fearing their power, and fearing that they'd lose jobs to robots.

After about two years, a scientist by the name of Dr. Kei Zurui launched a robotic-led assault on Earth from her fortress, hovering over the Atlantic Ocean. As soon as Yuri heard about this, even though she didn't know any humans, aside from Dr. Akari and her girlfriends, she begged her creator to let her help. Yuri had been told about how powerful her nanotech cells could be, and she knew she might be able to help. After much consideration, and after having Yuri do her a few 'favors' Dr. Akari finally agreed, and gave Yuri a suit of armor that she had been working on that could draw out the energy of Yuri's nanotech cells, and focus the energy into a stable form, reacting to Yuri's thoughts.

With Yuri's physical power, incredible regeneration, and nanotech-fuled energy attacks, she easily stormed through the main entrance to Dr. Zurui's lab, and shredded a good deal of her robotic servants. She would have fealt regret about that, but she knew Dr. Zurui never gave her robots much in the way of personality, if anything at all. She knew however, that she couldn't take the whole fortress down by herself, so she made her way to the shield generator room, in an attempt to take it out, and let the Earth Defence Forces storm the fortress... She was successful... but the resulting energy collapse of the shield ripped a hole in space and time, that flung Yuri to the Kibagami Mansion's front yard, in present day.

Since having come to the mansion, Yuri has learned a great deal, and tried to fit in more with her new family. She has found that fighting seems to come naturally to her, and she enjoys it immensely, though she hates to seriously hurt anyone.

Armor Functions:
Her armor utilizes the energy stored in her cells, which can be replenished simply by eating or resting. Using her armor, and it's powers for long periods of time, or in large quantities proves to be very draining on her. She has a few offensive and defensive manuvers she can use her armor for, and despite it's weight, she seems to control it pretty easily. Thanks to an upgrade given by Dr. Akari, her armor is now also capable of regenerating damage, though this process is somewhat slower than regenerating her cells. Thanks to a great deal of practice, and meditation on her part, she has learned to utilize her energy in numerous ways, from creating varying kinds of energy blasts, to forming energy shields, and swords, to using her energy to make thrusters.

This energy works by her concentration, and the more effort she puts into it, the stronger it is. She is capable of using her energy without the armor, but it's very difficult for her to get it to work, and even harder for her to control the energy once it does work. With time and practice however, she may not even need the armor eventually.

About Nanotech Cells:
Nanotech cells function similarly to biological cells, in that they utilize varying degrees of chemical energy. However, since they're artificially made, they're designed to be much more durable, and they are made to automatically regenerate to a specific design structure. Any defective or damaged cells are broken down to create new, healthy cells. This also eleminates any aging processes. They do require energy similar to a biological cell, and therefore, the lifeform made of them periodically requires food, and rest. There are potential risks with nanotech cells however. They do not seem to mix well with actual robotics and circutry. And, should the lifeform composed of them suffer severe damage repeatedly, and run out of energy and materials to regenerate, the cells may break down rather violently in a frantic effort to regenerate. The end result could be anything from causing the lifeform to be turned into a disgusting pile of goo, to causing them to explode in a wave of fire and electrical discharges, the strength of which is undeterminable.
